Family Interviews are a key component to assessing the needs and desires of the families in order for us to create their family profiles. These interviews provide a comprehensive understanding of each family’s unique situation, goals, and challenges. For those seeking volunteer opportunities, conducting these interviews is a meaningful way to contribute. They allow us to tailor our services and support to meet the specific needs of every family, ensuring a more personalized approach.
Family Interviews take place every Tuesday and Thursday evening with two Saturday mornings now available until October 12, 2024. This schedule offers flexibility to accommodate the diverse availability of the families we serve, allowing as many families as possible to participate in this crucial process. Each interview session is designed to be thorough yet respectful of the family’s time, enabling us to gather essential information without causing undue inconvenience or stress.

Volunteer in November & December:
All volunteer opportunities for the month of November and December will take place at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, 555 W. Temple Street, L.A. 90012. We are located in the parking structure P2 in the southeast corner.
Provide hands-on assistance to the Adopt-A-Family Program. Come to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels and join us as we sort and organize donations, wrap presents, and pack gift boxes. These volunteer opportunities are perfect for those who want to bring joy to families in need during the holiday season. Perhaps you would like to coordinate a drive for gifts or food. Organizing a drive in your community, workplace, or school can help us collect essential items that make the holidays special for many families. Delivery Day:
Saturday, December 14th, 2024, 7:30 am
Come to the Cathedral for a special Prayer Service, then have your car parked with gift boxes and deliver them to families. These delivery tasks are another great way to find volunteer opportunities. Large vehicles and trucks are most needed.
